The car gets a final check before the job is complete, so anything missed is handled on the spot.

What You Need to Provide for Mobile Detailing
For a mobile detail with Xclusive Detail Spa, you need three things: an outdoor water spigot, a standard electrical outlet and a safe space to work around the car.
- Water: a working outdoor faucet within hose reach of the car. We don’t carry a water tank at this time.
- Power: one standard outlet, indoors or out, for the vacuum, steamer and extractor. A garage outlet works well.
- Space: room to open every door fully and walk all the way around the vehicle, ideally on a flat driveway or parking spot.
- Access: the car unlocked, or the keys available, when we arrive.

Car Detailing at Your House
Most appointments happen in a driveway or an attached garage. You can stay inside, work from home or get on with your day while the car is cleaned a few feet away.
Mobile Detailing at Work
We can detail your car in your workplace parking lot so it’s ready when you leave. Check first that there’s an outdoor spigot and outlet we’re allowed to use, and that the property manager is fine with detailing on site.
Apartments and Condos
The same rules apply: a parking space with room to work, plus permission to use water and power. If your complex doesn’t allow it, a workplace or a family member’s driveway can work instead.

Do mobile detailers bring their own water and electricity?
Some do and some don’t. Xclusive Detail Spa currently uses your outdoor water spigot and a standard electrical outlet, so please make sure both are available near the car before the appointment.
How much space does a mobile detailer need?
Enough room to open every door fully and walk around the whole vehicle with equipment. A standard driveway, or a parking space with open room on both sides, is usually enough.
Do I need to be home for mobile detailing?
You don’t need to watch the detail, but we need access to the car, an outdoor spigot and an outlet when we arrive. If you won’t be there, tell us when you book so we can confirm how access will work.
How long does mobile car detailing take?
Our booking calendar sets aside about 3 to 4 hours for a full detail and 4 to 5 hours for the Xclusive Signature, depending on vehicle size. Heavy staining or a lot of pet hair can add time.
Can you detail a car in cold weather?
Yes, with limits. Interior work isn’t much affected by cold, but freezing temperatures make exterior washing difficult because water can freeze on the paint, glass and driveway. We confirm the weather before every appointment and set a new time with you if conditions won’t allow a proper detail.
Do you detail luxury vehicles?
Yes. We detail luxury and premium vehicles, including BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Tesla models, as well as daily drivers, SUVs, trucks and vans.
Where do you offer mobile detailing in NJ?
We serve Monmouth County and Ocean County, including Red Bank, Middletown, Freehold, Manalapan, Asbury Park, Long Branch, Toms River, Brick, Lakewood, Jackson and Point Pleasant. We don’t currently cover the rest of New Jersey.
